About Dinagiga
Super Mobile Legend Dinagiga (超機動伝説ダイナギガ, Chou Kidou Densetsu Dinagiga) is the brainchild and passion project of Takeshi Doi (土井武志). The two-episode OVA by Studio DEEN was released in 1998, directed by
Naoyuki Yoshinaga (吉永尚之) and featuring character designs by Hiroko Kazui (数井浩子).
At the Niconico Robot Training Institute, a group of children train to get their robot driver's licenses. The instructors take special interest in Hikari Touno, a young girl who's not too bright but is full of spirit. The Institute seems to have a secret agenda planned, bringing in the mysterious transfer student Marie Vlaanderen with the intentions of awakening a force unknown to the children...
What power might lay dormant within the young Hikari?
The series features "Yotei Chouwa no Mainichi" (予定調和の毎日) by Yume Suzuki (鈴木結女) as its opening theme, and "Himawari Hatake" (ひまわり畑) by Hikari's voice actress, Mayuko Omimura (おみむらまゆこ), as its ending theme.
